〈南ロンドン〉を中心に広がったUKのポストパンク・シーン。今ではIdlesやFontaines D.C.がチャートで勝負するほどに盛り上がっているシーンで、（チャート的な意味では）USのロックシーンとは大きな差が生じている。そもそもこのシーンに火薬を撒いたのはIceage辺りのバンドだと思うが、その火種に一気に着火されたのは〈Rough Trade〉の年間ベストで1位を叩き出したshame。

その、shameによる3枚目のアルバム『Food for Worms』が到着。
