UKはケンブリッチ出身のインディー・ロック・バンド、Mammoth Penguinsがリリースした最新作『There's No Fight We Can't Both Win』を入荷！

冒頭を飾る「Closure」からPhiladelphiaのインディーバンド、Remember SportsやロンドンのFreshと言った、インディーロックとポップパンクの間を突くようなキャッチーでパンキッシュな一曲が炸裂しています。

3曲目の「There Is So Much More」ではもう少しインディーに寄ったミディアムナンバーだけど、例えばCAMP COPEとかメルボルン辺りのインディーバンドを彷彿させるような感覚もあるし、続く4曲目「I Wanna」ではKurt VileとコラボしていたCourtney Barnettを彷彿させるような素晴らしいガレージサウンドを披露している。

「Quit My Job」ではよりインディーポップな一面を見せていたりもするし、全然知名度は無さそうですが、ロック好きには万人受けするタイプのアーティストなんではないでしょうか。
