Brooklynのポスト・パンク・B Boysのヴォーカリスト＆ベースを務めるBrendon Avalosのソロ・プロジェクト、Gift WrapがB Boysと同様にCaptured Tracksからデビューアルバム『Losing Count』をリリース。
ドラムマシーンをループさせ、インディーの風味を加えた、宅録ポストパンクな楽曲が多い。特にタイトルトラックにもなっている「Losing Count」の出来は素晴らしく、静かに冷え切ってクールだけど、ギターのフレーズが楽曲をポップに仕上げたアレンジの素晴らしい一曲。
他にも「Either Way」のようにBeach Fossilsが宅録風になった良い意味でデモ音源っぽい楽曲で、キッチリCaptured Track・ファンを掴みに行く楽曲もバッチリ収録。
